CAUGHT IN THE WEB: Hunting the Predators
In this documentary we see how the Internet fuelled an explosion of child abuse, how police are racing to learn new CSI-type techniques to find the children displayed in abuse images that are flooding the web, and how young people can be empowered so that they can turn the tables on the predators and reclaim the Internet as a safe global neighborhood for all. With testimony from victims, leading world psychologists and top police commanders, this program looks at the crucial challenges of a new face of crime in the 21st century. We also hear from the child sex offender who first tipped off the police. Inside the high-tech police centres in London, Washington and Toronto, we follow the undercover operatives as they track down the predators and rescue more than 50 children.
