| TALES OF WONDER I and II TALES OF WONDER I and II (as seen on PBS) showcases 18 Native American stories for children, as told in the Native American tradition by acclaimed Cherokee storyteller and linguist Gregg Howard. "Tales of Wonder" has been used in a curriculum unit developed by the Stanford University Program on International and Cross-cultural Education. Accompanied by flute players and sketch artists, Howard recounts legends important to native culture and identity, including "Why Rabbit Has a Short Tail," "Little Turtle and How His Shell Got Cracked," "Hawk & Hunter," "Dream Catcher," "Sky People," and many more.
