Dr. Liu, leading researcher and developer of the Social Class World View Model (SCVM) brings us the first DVD of its kind featuring:
*A brief narrated summary of what social class is and how the SCVM applies to the counselor's practice working with diverse individuals or group varying in social class.
*Two counseling vignettes that demonstrate Dr. Liu's pioneering SCVM model. The counseling session reveals five separate factors to consider when processing difficult issues that pertain to social class.
*A reflective summary of all the content presented, including understanding what social class means, and how it pertains to the field of mental health. The viewers will be asked to revisit and reflect on what their experiences of social class awareness were like, how it affected them, and how their understanding can help guide their therapeutic work.
