"Bearing witness" - in our homes, in our research, and in our travels - can help us move towards social justice. Dr. Fine retells stories from her experiences as the child of immigrant Jews, travels through Palestine and Israel, and work in prisons. She leads us to understand how we need to place our work squarely inside all the mind and experiences of others if we are to understand oppression and be electrified into action.
