This program discusses the types of questions addressed through qualitative research and considers problems of validity in the process, protocols, and analysis of qualitative research. It examines such forms of qualitative textual analysis as rhetorical criticism, conversation analysis, and content analysis and looks at the primary methods of qualitative research used throughout the social sciences.
