The learning objective of this program is to educate healthcare professionals on ways to prevent patient falls in the hospital setting.

Ten percent of fatal falls for older adults actually occur in hospitals - the very place where patients should be safe! Developed for the interdisciplinary Fall Prevention Team of nurses, physicians, physical therapists, and pharmacists, this program includes evidence-based strategies, protocols and interventions to prevent patient falls and reduce the severity of fall-related injuries.
