This program demonstrates: the basic principles of good body mechanics; proper use of a gait belt; specific moving, lifting and transfer procedures:
o Moving a resident up in bed (one and two provider moves).
o Turning a resident to a side-lying position.
o Transferring a resident form bed to chair.
o Ambulating a resident.
o Workstation ergonomics
