This program presents a graphically illustrated overview of the cardiovascular system, examining how cardiac medications affect the system in general. It defines the types of medications used in cardiac occurrences, proper use of these medications, and relevant contraindications and interventions for patients experiencing adverse side effects. Three case studies illustrate the use of Antilipemics, Anticoagulants, and Antihypertensives for the treatment of cardiovascular disease.
