COACHING MOTOR COACH OPERATOR with Instructor's Guide DVD

This four hour course provides comprehensive coverage of all aspects of operating motor coaches and coverage of collision-prevention techniques. This classroom program features a non-lecture, participant intensive educational approach. Throughout the course, both experienced and novice drivers are given the opportunity to analyze and discuss defensive driving skills and techniques that will help keep them collision-free.

PROGRAM COMPONENTS
Video Presentation which features motor coaches, and offers comprehensive coverage of collision prevention techniques and issues, including:
*Cushion of safety (following distance, stopping distance, blind spots, tailgaters, etc.)
*Scanning and vehicle positioning when traveling on interstates, rural roads and congested area
*Safe backing and parking procedures
*Vehicle inspection including proper mirror adjustment and blind spots
*Vehicle handling and design characteristics
*Evacuation procedures
*Operator/passenger relations

INSTRUCTOR'S GUIDE is fully scripted and gives step-by-step guidelines for presenting the course. Its format includes wide margins to allow insertion of specific company policies and procedures. It includes all answers to the response book questions -and a reproducible operator test, class registration form and observation checklist.

RESPONSE BOOK (one per trainee) with 32 pages that include a self-appraisal, follow-up discussion questions, collision analyses based on driving situations motor coach operators face daily and actual collisions involving motor coaches, collision reporting procedures, customer courtesy issues, and a course completion certificate.
