In the non-threatening environment of a peer support group, children of newly divorced parents talk freely in this video about how it feels - guilt, sadness, anger, jealousy, embarrassment, confusion, or even a lack of feeling - when parents split up. They discuss their experience, their special problems, and give advice to both parents and peers. Children of divorce get re-enforcement that it is never the child's fault. Discussion about their parent's feelings towards them are also included. Students from intact families can also benefit greatly with a greater understanding of family dynamics.
