As children grow older, their responsibilities become more far-reaching. This engaging hands-on workshop uses true-to-life situations to help middle schoolers explore the increasing responsibilities they have for themselves, their friends, their families and their community. Participation in adult experiences, understanding that people's safety has to always be a major consideration in making decisions, recognizing the importance of family and accepting that sometimes family occasions actually can take precedence over hanging out with friends and learning about the agony of conflicting commitments and decision-making.
