Europeans began to settle in this land in the early 17th century, but native peoples have been here for at least 20,000 years. The DVD chapters have been organized by region for more effective instruction. The series features a wealth of beautiful visual imagery and a variety of detailed information and is accompanied by a 13-page Teacher's Guide with student activities and additional research suggestions for each province and territory.
