DIET DURING PREGNANCY - DVD
Presents the effects of nutrition on both the embryo/fetus and on the mother. Emphasis is given to particular micronutrients shown to be deficient in pregnancy such as folic acid, calcium, vitamin D, iron, and zinc. Substances and food to be avoided such as alcohol, excess vitamin A, certain fish, and food items that may be contaminated with Listeria Monocytogenes are noted as well.
