ENCYCLOPEDIA OF NURSING (5 Programs) CD-ROM
This new five-program series is a compilation of basic nursing procedures offered in an interactive CD-ROM format. Video clips and narration help to demonstrate basic nursing skills, making the program invaluable to both nursing students and healthcare professionals. The series also offers documentation which can be viewed onscreen or printed for later reference.
Developed by Brigham Young University, this new and updated series can best be described as an interactive procedure manual for students and practicing nurses who need to master or review specific nursing techniques and procedures. Instructional video clips with narration and pertinent text on a variety of procedures can be easily and rapidly accessed by topic, alphabetical listing, or key word. CLOSED CAPTIONED
Users have many options when navigating through the material. They can view a skill on video and see the accompanying text. Or, they can reinforce their learning or answer specific questions about a technique by reviewing that same video and choosing a single step or all steps of the particular procedure. The text describing the entire process can also be printed if desired from the program.
