WOMEN IN TRANSITION: The On-Going Challenge
Four women - two African-American and two Caucasian - different ages, each describes impressions of her time behind bars and the struggles and challenges she faced after being released. They tell how they grappled with the issues of being labeled "ex-offender", with rejection, and with turning away from their former lifestyle, drugs and crime. Each of them offers straight-forward, invaluable advice regarding what to do while incarcerated and after release.
