DIGNITY AND RESPECT: Showing Patients Cultural Sensitivity DVD

All clinical staff members are required to receive training to become sensitive to cultural diversity and its implications for the delivery of safe and quality healthcare to patients.
The learning objective of this program is to educate all hospital staff on the necessity of providing every patient with effective and respectful care in a manner that is compatible with each patient's beliefs and practices. This includes issues regarding culture, race gender, sexual orientation, functional ability and economic situation for good patient care.
