Program #1 NEONATES, INFANTS AND TODDLERS
Discusses the characteristics of these early developmental stages, including the physiological differences and some of their characteristics. Addresses ways of working with the entire family and dealing with psychosocial and cultural differences. Discusses methods of non-traumatic physical assessment and care techniques for these early developmental stages. 17 minutes
Program #2 PRESCHOOLERS
Discusses the characteristics of the developmental stage of preschoolers, including some of their physiological characteristics and appropriate forms of care. Addresses ways of working with the entire family and dealing with psychosocial and cultural differences. Discusses some methods of non-traumatic physical assessment and care techniques for preschoolers. 12 minutes
Program #3 SCHOOL-AGE CHILDREN
Discusses the characteristics of the developmental stage of schoolage children, including some of their physiological characteristics and appropriate forms of care. Addresses ways of working with the entire family and dealing with psychosocial and cultural differences. Discusses some methods of non-traumatic physical assessment and care techniques for school-age children. 12 minutes
Program #4 ADOLESCENTS
Discusses the characteristics of the developmental stage of adolescence, including some of the physiological characteristics and appropriate forms of care. Addresses ways of working with the entire family and dealing with psychosocial and cultural differences. Discusses some methods of non-traumatic physical assessment and care techniques for use with adolescents, particularly as they relate to issues of weight and sexuality. 12 minutes
