The second in a series on age-specific care, this program provides nurses and other healthcare professionals with valuable information and guidance about the age-specific care of children from the preschool years through the teenage years.
After viewing this program, the learner should be able to:

*Explain cultural and language differences that exist among patient populations
*Describe age-specific care, nursing considerations and safety measures for preschoolers (3 to 5 years), school-age children (5 to 8 years), pre-teens (8 to 12 years), early teens (13 to 15 years), and late teens (15 to 18 years)
