SEASON BY SEASON THE YEAR UNFOLDS a companion GUIDEBOOK with sample documents for developing an intentional culture in early childhood programs. This resource guides teachers in understanding how a program’s values shape everyday practices with children. Seven sections, each developed with the same format, offer examples of key practices at Hilltop Children’s Center Each section includes worksheets and charts for teachers that detail center-wide protocols. There are sample letters to families, sample observation and documentation stories, examples of conflict negotiation and anti-bias practices with children, and a self-assessment in each section.
