COACHING THE REFUSE TRUCK DRIVER II with Instructor's Guide DVD
This specialized 5 hour course, designed to address common collision-producing situations for the refuse truck driver, has become an industry standard. An advanced course (beyond the basics of handling a refuse vehicle), it teaches practical defensive driving techniques that allow the driver to read and respond safely to traffic conditions. Throughout the course, drivers actively participate by analyzing and discussing ways to handle potential collision situations.

INSTRUCTOR'S GUIDE which is fully scripted and gives step-by-step guidelines for presenting the course. Its format includes wide margins to allow insertion of specific company policies and procedures. It includes all answers to the response book questions -and a reproducible class registration form and driver test.
RESPONSE BOOK (one per trainee) with 32 pages that include a self-appraisal, follow-up discussion questions, analyses based on driving situations refuse truck drivers face daily as well as actual collision situations, collision reporting procedures, placing emergency triangles, and a course completion certificate.
