COACHING THE ROUTE SALES DRIVER 2 - DVD

In the delivery business, temporary or permanent loss of personnel, out-of-service vehicles and damaged products caused by vehicle collisions really hurt the bottom line. *Cushion of safety (following distance, stopping distance, blind spots, tailgaters, etc.)
*Scanning and vehicle positioning on the roadway in city, commercial, highway and rural driving environments
*Delivery situations including safe backing and parking procedures
*Vehicle inspection including proper mirror adjustment and blind spots
*Vehicle handling and design characteristics

Discussion Scenarios which generate group discussion concerning collision avoidance skills and techniques applicable to daily driving.

LEADER'S GUIDE which is fully scripted and gives step-by-step guidelines for presenting the course. Its format includes wide margins to allow insertion of specific company policies and procedures. It includes all answers to the response book questions -and a reproducible driver test and class registration form.

RESPONSE BOOK (one per trainee) with 32 pages that include a self-appraisal, follow-up discussion questions, analyses based on driving situations route sales drivers face daily as well as actual collision situations, vehicle defect / collision reporting procedures, and a course completion certificate.
