ANGER: Who's To Blame? DVD
This program offers age-relevant vignettes of teens who have trouble handling their angry feelings. Help teens discover that unacknowledged, unresolved anger can cause depression, drug use, poor academic performance, and acting-out behavior that can strain personal relationships and lower self-esteem. In other words, angry feelings have to be dealt with. The stories deal with things like lending/borrowing and friendship, losing a romantic interest to what was supposed to be a friend, and that very real anger felt toward divorced parents. There are a lot of emotions involved in all these cases and the video explains that feelings of hurt, betrayal and disappointment don't just melt away by being ignored. Anger has to be acknowledged and resolved, and help is available.
