WHEN YOU SEE A BULLY - DVD
Show even the youngest children that it is possible to stand-up for themselves and others when they see bullying happen. Uses three age-appropriate vignettes to demonstrate precisely what youngsters can do when they see bullying and be able to say "It's NOT OKAY with me!"
Be a Friend: On the bus Luke is always bullying Samantha. Ben is disturbed by Luke's behavior but is afraid to speak up . . . afraid that Luke will turn on him next. Ben's dad suggests Ben can help Samantha by being a friend to her and offering to sit with her on the bus. That way she can get away from Luke.
Stop Bullies Together: Becky gets her friends Morgan, Hannah and Jessica to go along with her when she deliberately torments Tracy. Morgan feels terrible about this but is afraid to say anything to Becky. Her mom suggests that if all the girls confront Becky together about her behavior, they will have a better chance of getting her to stop picking on Tracy.
Tell a Grown-Up: Mike intimidates and bullies Ryan into giving him his new color markers and his collection of rubber stamps. Chloe witnesses this but doesn't know what to do. Her older brother suggests that it's not tattling to tell a teacher or trusted adult when something like this happens. Chloe does just that and helps to put an end to Mike's bullying.
